How Agencies Handle Revisions Without Losing Money
Revision rounds are where most agencies lose money. You quote two rounds. By round four, the client is still asking for changes.

Here's how successful agencies prevent this.
Set Clear Revision Limits (In Writing)
Your scope document should say:
"Revision Rounds: Your project includes two complete revision rounds. After two rounds, any additional revisions will be billed at $150/hour."
Not "up to two rounds." Not "approximately two rounds."
Two rounds. Period.
What is a revision round?
"A revision round means:
- You send consolidated feedback on all deliverables
- We implement the feedback
- We present updated deliverables for your review
- You approve or request another round"

How To Handle Revision Round 2 When There's Work Left
Round 2 should be final. But sometimes there's still more work needed.
Client sends feedback after round 2. You have options:
Option A: Include it (if reasonable)
If it's minor (30 minutes of work), just do it. Keep the client happy.
Option B: Charge for it
"That's beyond our revision rounds. We can implement at $150/hour, which would be $75 for that update. Want to proceed?"
Most clients will say yes for $75. Some will say "never mind."
Option C: Schedule for later
